Hold on! Hold on! Let me get that! 🐑. #farm #sheep #donkey #farmlife #bestfriend

Happy Halloween from our wonderfully ridiculous crew! 🎃👻

Murphy, the newest donkey (yes, there are TWO now 😂), was an absolute natural for his first Halloween here.

Pip, on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with wearing a costume himself, but was kind enough to help Murphy adjust his hat. 🐑😂

Maple Bacon was her usual good sport, as long as there was plenty of loving involved. Most of these photos were taken with all 200 pounds of Maple planted firmly on my boots. 😂 And Iris? Well, she’s always been up for all my shenanigans. ❤️

P.S. What’s your favorite candy in the basket? 🍬 Around here, it’s pumpkins! 🎃 If you’ve got any fresh pumpkins to spare after Halloween (just no mold or rot), we’d love to take them off your hands. These kiddos would be thrilled with the treats! 🧡

🔔 Ding, ding, ding! 🔔

We’ve got BEEF! 🥩🐮

We’ll have fresh beef available later this week, including ground beef and roasts!

Ground Beef Pricing:

5 lb packages — $8.50/lb
10 lb packages — $8.00/lb
25+ lbs — $7.50/lb

Our beef currently available is grain-fed, but we’ll have grass-fed beef coming in the near future if you’d like to get your name on the list!

Roasts are available by special order, starting at $7.50/lb.

As always, thoughtfully raised right here on our farm. ❤️ 🔔 And about that bell… found this little treasure at an estate sale! Those who know me know I can’t pass up a good vintage find. 😂❤️

Part of me wanted to keep this one just for us. But so much of what we share here is the life we’re building together, and I think sometimes it’s worth sharing the pieces behind it, too.

Another year, another anniversary but this one feels different. Settled.

Settled into our roles for one another. Into the rhythm of this life we’re building. No longer challenging each other quite so much to figure out where I end, where he begins, and how in the world we’re going to make all of this work. Boy, did we have some changes to go through to get here… probably more me than him. 😂

We’ve never been built around the big things. It’s not the next event, flights to somewhere beautiful, fancy dinners or grand romantic gestures. Somehow, our love has always lived in all the little things that make up an ordinary day. The quick kiss between hay loads. Holding hands while running from one job to the next. Working side by side until the job is done. Knowing when to push, when to give, and when we both just need to breathe through it.

We’re still learning. Still figuring things out as we go. And I’m sure life has plenty left to teach us. But there’s a quiet confidence that comes from knowing we’ve already figured out some pretty hard things together. I’m proud of us for that. Proud of what we’re building, proud of how we’ve learned to work through the hard parts, and maybe just a little convinced there isn’t much this man and I couldn’t figure out side by side.

So today isn’t really about the number of anniversaries.

It’s about celebrating the man who flipped my entire life upside down, still manages to make me madder than a hornet 🐝, and somehow makes me smile bigger than anyone else on this planet.

Happy Anniversary, John. 🤍 Cheers 🥂 to this life we’re building together, one more year in. 🐮🐷🐐🐑

Today was an unexpectedly hard day on the farm. We said goodbye to the best dog we could have ever asked for. 🤍

Paisley was John’s first soul dog. She was his long before she was mine, but somehow she bonded to me so quickly and became the fierce protector I never knew my body needed. She gave me a sense of security that’s hard to even put into words. If I bumped into something, she barked. If the wind blew a little too suspiciously outside, she barked. And if something truly didn’t belong here, she made sure we knew. I know she made more than a few of our visitors question whether they should take another step forward.

She was old, but she was still completely Paisley. Still all there. Still watching. Still protecting. Still loving us right up until the end.

I know we’ll forever hear her singing along with the sirens on the first Saturday of every month, and I’ll probably hear that bark in my head every time something goes bump outside.

The farm feels a little different tonight. Quieter. Less protected somehow. I’m not really sure what the days ahead look like without her here.

She was the best girl, the fiercest protector, and a dog we were incredibly lucky to call ours.

Paisley girl, you did your job so, so well. 🤍

Okay square carton lovers… don’t come for me. 😂

We’re testing out 18-packs to see if anyone prefers to switch sizes. 👀

🥚 12 eggs — $5️⃣
🥚 18 eggs — $7️⃣

Don’t worry, your beloved little square cartons aren’t going anywhere. 🤍 Order any time.
We always have eggs available! 🥚🍳

🎃 The Pumpkin Wagon is open! 🎃

Grab a pumpkin & leave a donation. No set price, just give what you’d like. 🤍

Every dollar goes right back into feeding our donkeys, goats, cows & chickens. 🫏🐐🐄🐓

Pick a pumpkin. Feed the farm. 🎃🤍
